On the evening of March 29th, the College of Mechanical Engineering held the final of the second English Speech Contest in the teaching building 3-210。Wang Ming, Mr. Gan Duan, Mr. CAI Yuanjun and Mr. Xiong Xiaoxia from the School of Economics were invited to serve as judges in the final round. Mr. Tian Hairong, the instructor, also attended the event。

　　The English speech competition is divided into two stages: preliminary and final. A total of more than 30 students applied for the competition. After the preliminary selection, a total of 11 students stood out and entered the final。The final kicked off with the 11 finalists singing "Anyone of us.。The final is divided into two parts: free speech and live question and answer. The contestants gave speeches on stage respectively and answered the questions of the judges on the spot. They showed their style and solid English skills with fluent and idiomatic oral English, reflecting their strong strength。On the performance of the contestants, the judges made wonderful comments one by one, which benefited the students。The final was summed up by teacher Wang Ming, who was warmly welcomed by the students。
