China Graduate Student Network Security Innovation Competition is one of the theme competitions of "China Graduate Student Innovation Practice Series Competition", guided by the Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, co-sponsored by China Association of Degree and Graduate Education and Youth Science and Technology Center of China Association for Science and Technology。The competition is a group cyber space security-related professional innovation practice for graduate students across the country，To "gather professional talents to build network security" as the concept，Guided by national strategic needs，Supported by the participation of industry enterprises，To improve the innovation ability and practical ability of graduate students as the core，Strive to solve the problem of "stuck neck" in the field of cyberspace security，To train, select and reserve a group of urgently needed high-level cybersecurity talents for the country。The Third "Huawei Cup" China Graduate Student Network Security Innovation Competition in 2024 is organized by Wuhan University, and the relevant matters of the competition are notified as follows:

I. Theme and track

The theme of this competition is: Cultivating innovative spirit and cultivating network information talents

The competition is divided into three courses: the opening challenge, the creative work competition and the real net competition。The opening challenge and creative works competition take the innovation of the work as the core research point, and the real net competition focuses on the actual attack and defense ability of the participants。

(1) Opening Challenge

According to the competition mode, the security challenges and "jam neck" problems existing in the development of new products and technological innovation are released, and the contestants carry out the "opening list" competition。

(2) Creative works competition

In the field of blockchain, vulnerability mining, basic cryptography, protocol security, Internet of Things (IoT) and other cutting-edge directions, participants creatively propose security solutions, technical inventions, draft standards, etc。

(3) Real net match

The preliminary competition adopts the online CTF Flag Capture competition mode, and the final competition adopts two competition modules: AWD Plus and range integrated penetration mode。
